The Steintor
By the 1732 reconditioned stone gate with its deseamed
pointed pointed-bent dazzle arrives we the Stolper suburb at the Gertrud churck
on the Cemetery. Under the pomeranian polygonal churches the Rügenwalder Gertrud
church, by beauty in the development of internal architecture, is
absolutely entitled design and design in its plant the price. It is considered
as a jewel among the north Germans buildings of churches. On a twelf division
underbody rises a tent roof covered with bricks, which carries a high slim ridge
turret with shingle. The inside shows a hexagonal main area with
twelve-lateral handling. The whole design points to nordic influence. It is
probable an establishment of king Erich as thank for a lucky rescue from
distress. Their pulpit originating from the castle church is a piece of gloss of
the timber architecture from the 16. Century. It stands on a carved angel figure.
Korinthi columns frame the door and carry a combined pomeranian coat of arms.
The stair parapet wall is arranged by free standing columns. The fillings shows
a prophet picture. The sound cover, representing the mountain Tabor, is likewise
connected by the pomeranian coat of arms with the lecture chair. The pulpit
shows extremely rich figures and color decoration.
